Activities at Audiovisual Schools

Kinoforum maintains partnerships with Brazil's leading audiovisual schools, which submit their films for evaluation by the Selection Committee, in addition to participating in various joint activities.

VISION IN PROGRESS

Students from partner courses participate annually in the selection process for submitted films, watching the films and recording their opinions.

KINO NIGHT

Participating schools nominate a group of students to take part in this audiovisual production competition. It all starts on Friday, the 23rd: participants are given a theme to inspire their productions and have three days to complete their projects.

SHORTS CRITIC

Workshop aimed at audiovisual students that aims to promote reflection on contemporary film production in the short film format, contributing to the exercise, production, and dissemination of texts during the Festival. Under the coordination of Isabel Wittmann, film critic, anthropologist, and researcher, students publish on the blog http://kinoforum.org.br/curtas

MAKING OF

Every year, a school is selected to produce the Making Of Kinoforum, with support from the school team in partnership with the Festival team.
