KIDS AND TEENS ACTIVITY: FROM BOOK TO SHORT FILM

Brazil |

The children's book “Uma menina, um rio” (A Girl, a River), by Lúcio Goldfarb and Pedro Menezes, published by Editora Jandaíra, has been turned into a short film of the same title, directed by Renata Martins Alvarez. The authors and director will be at the Festival to tell the story to children and talk about the process of adapting a book into a film. What are the differences in the narrative? What attracted the director's attention in the story and what changed? Activity open to children and adults aged 6 and up. This will be followed by a screening of the Kids1 Program, which includes the film.
